Drooling.....

Uh-oh. This is not good for being on the stash wagon. The new Mirabilia design has been released - 'Lilly of the Woods - The Dreaming Fairy' & she's now arrived at Sew & So (not affiliated etc - the quickest UK shippers around!).... hmm. My eye keeps being drawn to her - the wings and the branch are simply breathtaking & the fairy is very pretty, but unfortunately its another yellow(ish) design. I actually quite like yellow - my hallway is painted a gorgeous yellow called 'Honeygold' which simply glows when the sun hits it :o) I never actually noticed until recently how many yellow Mirabilia designs there are! I guess Nora has a quite limited palatte - there's only so many colours, although alot of shades within each colour range. Yellow, blue, orange, pink, purple, green, brown, red. These are the main colours & having designed a grand total of 80 designs, I guess Nora must have used each of these a number of times! I don't recall any of them wearing a red dress though, although Royal Holiday's cloak is raspberry/red and she has used red in the Santa designs. I think I will have to add Lilly to my collection soon, but I will definately convert the colour of the dress..... I'll get my thinking cap on, or maybe the colour scheme will come to me when I'm dreaming :o)

I agree. A beautiful new Mira does not help me stay on the wagon either! I'm going to do my best to sit on my credit card until after Christmas. (I certainly won't be stitching it before then anyway.)

I want her too, but I'll try and wait a while! ;o) BTW, my dining room is 'Honeygold'!
