The fabric is actually white, however, this was taken in artificial light, so it has made it look a bit grey. My WIP has no 'ted', no backstitching and no french knots (eeeeeek!) yet, although most of the cross stitching is done. The reason that I've left Ted until last is that my boss, (who commissioned this) wanted a traditional colour bear, i.e. sandy brown. I tossed my flosses and came up with suitable colours, but to be sure, I wanted to get most of the background done first, so I could see quite quickly whether the colours will clash or not. There is a huge amount of backstitch on this one, which I don't mind too much, it's more the french knots that I'm dreading! Here is what it will look like when complete (courtesy of Sew & So):

College work is progressing very slowly. I now have the main body of my assignment done, along with a PESTLE and SWOT analysis (don't ask!). I have still to do my introduction, conclusions and recommendations. 1:30pm this Friday is the deadline, so please send any supportive hugs you can muster this week - they would be so appreciated! ;o)

Hi Sam.
I will be interested to see how the ted comes out on this one. Good luck with the assignment. I am in the same boat but got until next week, but where does time go when you are trying to get them done.
I'm sure you'll be just fine Sam! {{hugs}}
Taj is on my list of possible new starts, so I'm deffo up for a SAL in the new year! :))
I call him Tatty Teddy, it suits him lol.
I would love to do Taj, an SAL sounds a great idea Sam.
