Feeling poorly :o(

I have not been a well girlie the last 14hrs or so. I seem to have picked up a real nasty tummy bug. On Weds I had to take my Dad up to the hospital for a blood test - nothing to worry about, they just needed as fresh a sample as possible! But I noticed lots of signs saying that there was an outbreak of a stomach bug doing the rounds so I wonder if I've picked it up from there. It's doing my diet the world of good anyway! I feel a little better this morning, as I'm sat here on my PC in my pyjamas, wrapped in a blanket and with my Bagpuss hot water bottle draped across my tummy!! Any hugs would be appreciated though :o)

I'm not planning on going anywhere today, just incase I feel bad suddenly so as I did all my housework yesterday morning I can really put my feet up today & get to work on Titania. When I had flu in January after I had just started her I managed to work solidly on her for a couple of days, so maybe she is my healing fairy!

Dad kindly bought the new Harry Potter dvd for me on Weds as a thank you for taking him to the hospital & things. I haven't watched it yet so will probably watch it later on today. I liked the film when I saw it in the cinema, but not as much as its predecessor - The Prisoner of Azkaban is my fave film (and book too) so far. The new film had too many parts of the book missing for my liking... just where was Winkie the house elf I ask you?!!! ;o)
The new Mirabilia has been released - Bliss Fairy. She is very pretty & will make a lovely companion to Petal Fairy. I don't like her quite as much as Petal which is one of my fave Mirabilia designs, but she is very sweet & I know I will stitch her.

I like Petal the best too, but Bliss is definitely another cute fairy :)

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, hope you are better soon. :D

I agree about Harry Potter, I liked the film, but did miss a lot from the book. But I suppose the film would've had to be twice as long to fit it all in. ;)

Sending you lots of hugs Sam! I hope that isn't the very same bug I had on Monday and Tuesday... my stomach still isn't back to it's normal self. Sounds like the perfect time to stitch and watch Harry Potter, that has to be the perfect therapy dontcha think? LOL I do agree with you, they did leave out a lot from the HP book and I would have loved to see Winkie!
