Feeling lucky :o) Feeling poorly :o(

I realised yesterday how lucky I am to have my Dad. He's not my natural Dad, unfortunately I lost him before my 2nd birthday. My Mum remarried when I was 3 & I can't actually remember my natural Dad, so he's the only Dad I've ever known & since I lost my Mum to the dreaded C when I was 16, he's tried his best to do all he can to take care of me. Where am I going with this... oh yes...! Its my birthday next month & he will always ask me what I would like rather than trying to surprise me (I'm not very good with surprises - I have this knack of finding things out!). He had offered to buy me some hand dyed fabric, but for a long time I've been ooohing and aaahing over Chatelaine's Taj Mahal. As its mainly stitched in silks, the kit is quite expensive, so I've been selling a few things on Ebay, trying to save up for it without much success. So yesterday he said he would buy it for me :o)))) Yippeeeee! I've signed up to the online class which is already on part 7 (for those who don't know about Chatelaines, this is an online class over 12 months where you get a new part online each month), so today I've been busy printing out lots of pages. Of course, this is the day that my printer cartridge decides enough is enough & won't let me have as much black ink as I need. I guess its time to get a new one....

On the down side, I've been feeling poorly since yesterday. I'm not sure what it is - I'm feeling achey & dizzy with an awful headache & my head just feels as if its all over the place! I'm hoping a good night's sleep tonight will put pay to it. Talking of which.... night all! {o)

What a special Dad you have, that's so sweet of him to buy something he knows you've been wanting. (It's impressive that he's in tune with your stitching enough to know about hand-dyed fabrics!)

Hope you're feeling better soon!
